For this week's Illustration Friday topic 'Boundaries' (this tot clearly has none) I strayed from my usual illustration method of drawing with pen and used pencil instead. What do you think? Better? Worse? I would love some opinions.
Hi Hannah, tis is lovely, as usual. I like your red ink lines, I think they match your palette in a beautiful way. However, it's always nice to try new things, and this pencil + watercolor illustration is a success. The question is, which way do you feel better?
cute! I randomly clicked on your image, which is strange because I had just posted my image with the same question saying I used pencil instead of my usual pen+ink and for feedback :)
I think for yours this works as it still looks very much in your style! Both techniques you use are great though!
Haha! This looks like what happens at my place every day! Except Miss Daisy pulls the paper off the holder and says 'Papper, papper' as she tears it up...then wants to put it in the toilet! - she certainly hasn't learned such boundaries yet! Cute picture!

Thanks for your input everyone. Jose, good idea. A combination of pen and pencil is my next move.
