Here we have the second of a series of etchings that I have been doing. I've been experimenting with my colour palette too. I usually stick to what I know as to not ruin a drawing but with multiple prints to play with, I feel like I have more freedom to experiment. I'm sharing these with Paint Party Friday today. wow, these are beautiful! Do you illustrate children's books because if not you should be! I love the sense of movement as they all try not to topple over!

ReplyDeleteI still have nightmares about etching from college due to the scariest lecturer ever.... so I am doubly impressed with these... I really love the picture book quality and the whole Enid Blyton feel to them... just wonderful xx

ReplyDeleteThese are really great. I love those colors you chose in the top one! I often try to limit myself to a particular set of colors because I think it adds something neat. Such great style. I love all the patterned shirts. :) The sketchier one at the bottom is also really nice.
